Kalamunda Market on a Sunshine Sunny Day

I think I'm starting to get attracted to all kinds of hats!! Be it floppy hats, trilby or fedora, and flower headpieces like as if I'm Rapunzel! It's already bad enough that I've started my headband collection just 2 years ago and NOW HATS!!! Not to mention about my jackets/coats addiction and clothes!!! thankfully, the shoes and bags fetish haven't grown on me yet. As soon as I got back to Perth, my sister took me to a market far far away up on a hill!! NO seriously, i'm not making the Disney Princess story up but the market is really on a hill LITERALLY! And the funny thing is, it's only going to be there every first Saturday of the month so yay for that Saturday! There was a stall selling all kinds of fruity flavoured ice and omg it reminds [...]

The Fun after Work

It's only the second week of Uni and I've been a busy busy bee!! AND THE WEATHER IS NOT HELPING WITH IT'S TERRIBLE HEAT!! Where are you my Autumn!!! I'm dying to wear my jackets already and funny thing is, when I packed my luggage in KL, i've always thought that I'm bringing my whole closet from Malaysia but when I'm finding for my pieces of clothing, they're NOT IN THE LUGGAGE!!! Which means I only packed them in my head!!! I'm always thinking of stuffs way ahead in my head and then that's it! IT ONLY HAPPENS IN THE HEAD WTF!!! Back to my fun-after-work posts in Malaysia, it feels really good to be out from work! No more long hours and doing work I didn't like to do.  No more mean bosses MUAHAHAHAHAH!! Such a breather to be out in the afternoon with my favo[...]

10 Minutes

This year's Chinese New Year feels different to me somehow and I couldn't really quite describe the reason why? I'm already leaving this Sunday and i surely do feel a little heavy-hearted. My daddy is being very nice to me lately as he takes time off work to bring me around and cross of the things I wanted to eat in my 'FOOD I WANT TO EAT' list! Soooooo we went to Port Dickson to get some things done and I swear, the place was so quiet I would think it's haunted. Had my dose of Rojak and Claypot Mouse-ish Noodles for breakfast muahahahhaha!! The only time I'll have heavy savoury breakfast is when I'm with my parents. Whenever I'm with them, I guess being full is all I'll feel most of the time! The wtf thing that happened was that I deliberately ignored a huge[...]

Harajuku Girls

Boy oh boy, my trip sure sounded like I was in Japan for ages but towards our second last day of the whole Japan trip, the day was basically filled with shopping shopping and a great length of distance on walking! So much so that by the end of my trip, the only two pairs of flats that I've brought over died on me!!  That's just merely our first entrance to pushy sweaty war! Swear to God that I was walking like a penguin because that just describes the amount of space I could move with my feet as soon as I entered Harajuku! It was no doubt an eye opening experience though because I've got a chance to see so many weird different people!! However, I do admire the amount of courage they had to express themselves and stand out from the crow[...]

Shopping in Ginza

Truly sorry for the two weeks absence! It is so tiring now that I've started my internship and I have to say that I'm not really enjoying it as much as I want myself to be. With the amount of salary per month, I've been thinking of buying a lot of things with that money and I have to say that the things I want is already more than my salary GAHHH!!! Anyhowww, I'm just going to get on with my Japan posts! After a whole lot of drama from the previous night, waking up to Fuji Mountain was beautifully calming and I felt like I could live with these for a few more weeks! Sadly, we had to leave by 8 to face a war in the city in the noon! I think this is some sort of strategy you know. It's like they're preparing you for a war by starting the trip with loads of temples and staying at ho[...]

Flower Girl

This Spring, we went to Araluen Farm to enjoy the breathtaking view of flowers. Not having any chances of visiting any tulip farms before this, I was definitely looking forward to this trip very much and it was undeniably a good break from my constant weeks filled with assignments and small tests. As soon as we reached the farm, we were soon greeted with smells from different flowers and I really love the smell of one of the roses there as the sweet nectar it produces reminds me so much of my favourite rose syrup cordial drink! This place was definitely a great place for family picnics and they even have a little hut which serves great lunch and tea. On a side note, I've been eating like a fat pig since I'm[...]

Japan Trip Day Three : Scary Night Out

After the short crying drama in the restaurant, we then headed off to another temple called Peace Park Sakura Garden. At this rate, I was completely tired of going to so many temples all the time because I'm anticipating for my shopping escapades so much to the point where all my nerves are filled with terrifying shopping electrons that are dying to leech out of my skin! Till I saw this little cute ferret that was being surrounded by small kids up to my knee's length and myself as well *coughs* going 'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MUMMY I WANT THIS TOO' It took us long enough to reach Level 5 of Fuji Mountain and there were so many cars and buses heading there as well! With the amount of people there, I think you can set up a v[...]

Japan Trip : Sue me, I cry over food

Finals is about to start and 2 days time and I guess that explains my not-so-often blog posts lately. But then again, here I am spending my time to jot down a few words on my Japan posts because I'm so sick of studying already! I've basically slacked the whole day so I thought this would be the cue for me to blog. Waking up in the morning to a view like that is just breathtaking. I stared down the window for a good half an hour trying to count the number of vehicles passing by in the size of an ant and occasionally spotting a really long bullet train passing by the tracks just right beneath our hotel. Breakfasts filled with buttery crisp croissant, waffles, boiled sausages and DID I MENTION WEDGES at 7am every morning is definitely a sin. Oh yes it is but[...]

Magazines for the men in Japan

Right after the Kimono show, we alighted out bus to get to the bullet train station as I said in my previous post here. Initially, I thought it's a super short journey to the train station but FOL it took us 2 hours I THINK?! We did a short stopover at this quaint rest house and they've got the best vending machines and a hugee shop for you to shop for tidbits! I MEAN HHHUUUUUUUUGGGEEEEE!!! But then again, most importantly i love their vending machines especially the coffee ones because they've got a little camera showing the process of brewing your cup of coffee INSIDE the machine, for example while it's grinding the coffee beans and etc!  As we boarded the bus to continue our journey to the bullet train station, Kenro-san gave us a fe[...]
