On my second day in Singapore, we decided on going to Marina Bay Sands as there was so much hype about it when it first opened and still does! We took a taxi ride after the peak office time to escape the extra fee, GOSH there’s so many taxi fee rules to the extent that it’s more complicated than my history books!
I was starving by the time we reached so we had our mini dim sum at their food court. I don’t know if it’s just my family or what but we LOVE Singapore’s food court so much more than Malaysia’s one and that’s where we go to at least half the trip to fill our grumbling tummies!
I’m so in love CURRENTLY OBSESSED with bright colours at the moment, it’s just a phase that I go through every now and then but sometimes, I would come up with themes for myself and dress up according to it. For that particular day, I felt like playing with two of my favourite colours, bright orange and aqua green! If I could, I would want my hair in these two colours in the ombre effect considering my recent green hair wasn’t entirely the aqua green I wanted!
This would be one of my favourite embroidered lace crop tops ever because I just simply love the golden embroidery in a leafy pattern. Not to mention, it was slashed at its half price when I got this which makes everything better. One thing though, this slightly reminds me of the plain white embroidered lace tops I wore as a kid as they used to be the cheapest for babies.
Unlike any other mall in Malaysia, I love how there’s a vast overview of the city’s skyscrapers that greets me when I walked onto the other side of the entrance.
While taking a brief walk around, I noticed that the Louis Vuitton store was floating on the water and that caught my eye for a second! Off we went to that store and I’m simply mesmerized by the exhibition they were currently holding then. The whole of first floor was used to exhibit books, antiques and even wall arts! To top on to that, I really love the window display showing the cruise collection for LV! Almost went back in to ask where did they get the fake water from WTF!
This was the art piece that I was staring at for a good two minutes! I love how playing with the lights changes the entire picture and give life to this piece altogether!
For many years, I’ve been wanting to try Singapore’s Fried Hokkien mee as it completely different to the version we have in Malaysia and it tasted so good with that dollop of chilli!!!! Hopped back over to Orchard Road and the reason why I love visiting Singapore during christmas season is that their decorations never fail to make me all giggly and feels like a little child inside. We came across a stall in Takashimaya selling herbal tea and the colours really got me intrigued especially a purple drink. Never have I seen a chinese drink in a few colours but it’s quite a pleasant and refreshing sweet herbal drink for a hot sunny day!
