It’s the long Easter weekend and I’m just enjoying every bit of it! The best bit of all is that the weather has been very warm and all sunny sunshine despite a week of rain just before this. As I was picnic deprived my whole childhood, it’s a no brainer if I were to tell you that I’m having a secret itch of throwing a picnic at every chance I get!!!
In fact I just had another one yesterday but that will be for another post soon!
This picnic party happened end of last year which was organized by Perth Fashion Festival for the success of PFF 2011! As it was getting warmer over here in Perth, so I opted for something breezy and comfortable enough for a picnic. I’ve always loved this pair of denim shorts because I found it by luck on the 50% rack and it’s the last one in my size!! It has to be a sign from GODD that this is the one and I have to agree as it’s rather hard for me to find the perfect pair of shorts that fits well! On the plus side, there’s an additional layer of denim lace cut outs beneath the cut offs which fairly distinguishes it from the other shorts!
I just can’t get enough of the shades both Joy and I brought!! It’s the very first hexagonal frame I’ve seen and I bought this as it resembles closely to Prada Fantasy Collection’s shades that I was eyeing on last year. Of course that was out of my financial means during then. And still maybe now HAHAHAHA!
Now that I think of it, I really Don’t you think that the surroundings are just so simply picturesque?!?! Especially the tree they picked to sit under, with the additional touch of balloons! Somewhat ‘mistletoe’ under a tree?
All in all, it was definitely a fun day and slightly adrenaline pumping considering it was just a day before the start of my BIG FINAL exam in uni then. I should be studying then but who could resist any picnic by the river?
I was wearing:
Zara Bright Pink Blazer with Orange Lining and Oriental Buttons
Topshop Transparent Perspex Shades
Cassette Society Shorts with Lace lining
Miss Selfridge Mint Green patent belt and Clutch
