If you take a look around, you’ll notice that in the shopping malls, most of the retail stores are filled with prints in any sorts of colour you can ever imagine. Even most of the designers’ collections were print frenzy for the Spring/Summer 2011 season and still going on strong for now if I dare say.
When I was working in Zara a few months back, it was an endless torture every week as the latest pieces are coming in twice a week and we are forced to remember every single piece of them! Being voted as one of the person with the weakest resistance e.v.e.r, it’s just a matter of time or an intense mental battle before i get my hands on this Navojo printed pants back home as I’ve been lusting over it ever since!! I guess luck was on my side as it was put onto the sale racks after weeks of hitting myself hard as a self-resisting act!
I’ve always had a bias love towards tribal prints compared to floral because it reminds me of the kaleidoscope patterns I used to see when I was a kid last time. If you take a look closely, my favourite element about this pants is that the prints and colour concentration are different on each side of the leg!
Sinking into the tribal mood, what better to pair it with other than a fringed sleeve embroidered top? Apart from the annoying fringe that gets caught up with anything sharp on my sleeves, this top has to be one of my favourite pieces of all time! I can tell that it is because I’ve already worn it twice within a week! The embroidered patterns really got to me and it just reminds me of the cross-stitch my mummy used to do many years back!
Anyhooo, it was the day I had to send my mummy off the airport so half of the pictures was my post-crying face. I even have pictures of me crying, but that’s too horrible to be seen by the public. It’s worse than watching gross pictures. Ugh.
SOOOOOOOOO, that aside, do you like this outfit and a little pop of pink into it?
