Red Rose

We’re still in the midst of a transition period between summer and autumn but while the temperature is still lingering on the warmer side, I figured that dressing in a bright red ensemble wouldn’t hurt anyone. Except for that bull which chased my mother up a tree HAHAHAHAHA because she was in a shocking red dress.

This floral blazer screams PRINTS and it resembles my mood perfectly for whole entire month and that’s probably the reason why it’s being worn to death and hanging lifeless in my closet! Seeing how it blends in with the blooming flowers behind definitely stirs a deceiving image in my head every single time I take a look at it thinking that we’re about to experience Spring right now! On the bright side, I guess I have taken after my dad’s gardening genes as both of the roses and chili plants are flourishing abundantly!

Wore this outfit out to Fremantle market and boy oh boy, it didn’t hit me that the tiles were so imbalanced till I smartly convinced myself that it wouldn’t be a problem for me to walk in a market with these wedges! This pair of wedges is to die for! In fact I have been eyeing on them since last year when I saw how eerily alike they are to the ones from Prada Spring/Summer 2011 collection! Of course I’ve forgotten about it till I went to Myer the other day to use the $100 gift card I got for just being a mentor at Curtin Uni! GOSH! Who would have thought that just emailing some international students every semester asking how are they doing will score you a shopping spree at Myer! Trust me, if I had knew that earlier, I’ll be a mentor every semester tsk tsk! These shoes only costs $28 but as I’ve bought kitchen utensils for my mother, I only had to pay an extra $8 from my remaining credit of $20!!!! BUT STILL, THE SHOES ARE ONLY FREAKING $8!!! Now that explains the cheeky grin in that picture.

All in all, the loud printed blazer definitely liven up my otherwise a starkly casual outfit of just white and black hues. I love the fact that the blazer has this little magical touch that only requires a cinch of effort.

I was wearing:
Topshop Floral Print Blazer gifted from my sister
Versace for H&M choker necklace
Cheap Monday Black High Waisted Skinny Jeans
Kenji Multicolour Striped Wedge
1970s Vintage Guy Laroche Shoulder Bag stolen from Mummy
